From the cows perspective Tom’s branching out into human farming , he’s already got a field full 👍🍻

Thank you Tom Pemberton for allowing cows to be cows, it's such a beautiful sight to see. My neighbor has one of the largest dairy farms in Maine, his cows never set food in a field, never get to graze fresh grass. Much respect to your family for doing it right. God bless you all.

Never gets old watching the cows go out in spring even after 73 years

My favorite is the spotted cow that did a full 360!! Happy cows, happy crowd, happy me watching this video - Thanks to all who make this possible, especially you, Tom!!

@bobbie-blu 3 years ago

Love how they had all the field to run about in yet they went straight to the crowd and interacted for so long. You can tell just how much they interact with all the pemberton team on a daily basis

I just love to see the "udder" joy these cows express. You can tell how happy they are. 😊

So worth watching them!
I'm thrilled that so many people can observe how happy the cows are to be outside, and observe their have personalities. Such a good education.

I expected the cows to stop immediately and start grazing when they reached grass. But, they ran way into the field even jumping now and then. Thanks for being such a good man to your livestock.

I really don't know what it is about the cows running and jumping out into the field, but it really feels me with joy😊

@simonsays5792 3 years ago

Heart-warming, their joy is just so obvious.

@Rikzy90 3 years ago

Tom's realisation of just how big he is getting!

@liggerstuxin1 3 years ago

All animals deserve to be happy. Even livestock. It’s nice to see them so happy. We all die some day. Doesn’t mean our entire life should revolve around it.

Watching the girls let out to pasture for the first time is always amazing. Six months without fresh grass has gotten the girls running and dancing. Whats truly amazing is a big heavy cow can lift herself to dance at all. Great presentation and filming.

Possibly the best bit: half a million people excited to come here and watch cows.

@phoenixrising3219 3 years ago

I think watching the cows go out is probably the best video every year. I'm over here laughing at their antics motivated by pure joy. Watching full-grown cows run and jump is the best ever! Thank you for another amazing video, Tom!🐄🐄🐄

@Orangutan_Stella 3 years ago

That made my eyes water a bit. Fantastic to watch how happy those cows were 😊😂

@limitedtime5471 3 years ago

I love that you made a huge social event out of cows joyfully greeting their spring field!

@dianebass3193 3 years ago

I have never seen this , I live in south USA and our cows are out all year! That is beautiful to see grown cows acting like calves ! Awesome 👏 Thank you ! So neat to see all those different personalities on each of your cows too . They were so happy .

I was so happy to be able to be there this year. We drove 3 hours from Darlington and ended up in the car park at 7am in the camper. Your poor mum coming out in the rain. Milkshakes were amazing raspberry and white chocolate FTW! Had chocolate and salted caramel as well. I’m glad I was able to help with the footage. Hope the poor bu@@er who had to mop the shop floor got a free milkshake lol. Excellent morning. See you in the summer and next year. Debbie from Darlington xx

Watched this joyful event myself many times in spring - my dad was a farmer - when the cows were let out in the fields after a long winter in the stable, eating hay. Cows running around in the field, jumping up and down, tails in the air, happily mooing. We called it the 'koeiendans'; Dutch for 'cow-dance'. If ever there was a happy cow, it was in spring during the cow-dance.. ❤
