We are going to do some grading, repair the drainage ditch that has been washed out, as well as remove a large tree stump that's in the way. I know this video is 8 months old at this point, but to keep that drive way from ditching out again, you'll need to add some "water bars" every 50-75 feet depending on how steep it is. Water bars are simply diagonal humps in the road that take heavy rainwater and give it a channel off the road before it creates a heavy rut in the direction of traffic. Think of a speed bump made of dirt at a 30° angle across the road. I grew up in very wet redwood mountains and taking care of roads just like that was a yearly task.

You definitely need to learn to dig deeper and then you could have pulled the stump out. Don't be afraid to make a mess you have an excavator and can fix it after. Love the video and I hope to see more!!!!

27:26. If you scrape all of the rocks from next to the forest mud, the water will run down the straight channel at a much faster speed...
It will dig out a new channel and cut banks in that mud, during a big rain.
