They both sound like they're having fun and genuinely happy to be playing a game together.
Compare that to present day Phil, who makes every stream an incredibly sad sight to behold as his screams of rage echo within the lonely halls of his condo.

After watching this, it makes me realise how much of a mistake dsp made moving states. I actually enjoyed this play through, they are just those sort of awkward yet loveable friends.

1:02:00 - Phil absolutely pressed down. He does that in every single Mario game ever and it gets him killed multiple times a playthrough. He just can't not be pressing buttons.
