Hello Dr Ryan, thank you for crafting such high yield videos and putting that much effort to come up with such a top notch content. I have one request to make here if you could please make a video based on tuberculosis like more detailed one regarding when to treat those patients ,when to defer ,how dentists can avoid contamination and which mask provide best protection and for how long we can use specific mask and what will be the best PPE for different transmissible conditions and additionally if the patient is accompanied with an interpreter (minor or adult) and when to consider them.As many of my friends asked me to focus on such clinically relevant information.

Thank you so much for your new video.
A lot of people have an issue with that.
Where i live is almost only one race. It's quite interesting infected percentage that defense on rece.
Mentioned only hiv, also hpv is so helpful.

Hi Ryan,

As always, your content is very high quality and I truly appreciate it. I reviewed the ADA guidelines regarding disclosure of a dentist’s or healthcare provider’s HIV status but couldn’t find any relevant information. I then checked the CDC, which states that disclosure to patients is not mandatory, with the exception of certain state requirements — for example, Texas requires written disclosure and consent. Could you please clarify your sources for this information?

Hey Dr. Ryan, first off thanks for all of the amazing videos. Question about the examples from the end of the video: Does a dentist legally have to disclose their positive HIV status to the patient? You made the distinction that the patient does not legally have to disclose, but you say here that a dentist "should" disclose. Thanks again!
