i love watching jerma react to things bc he’s always so baffled and/or outraged by absolutely everything he sees. i don’t even think he’s playing it up or doing a bit i think he’s legitimately enthralled by the presence of aliens in a gas commercial and i love that for him

"Time that person out for 1 second" gets me every time

jerma pointing out the most random things in a commercial and laughing his off ass genuinelly reminds me of getting stoned in my friends basement and just laughing at both the show we were watching and watching the people in commercials oh my god

The worst part about his timezone rant at the start is that he doesn’t understand that East Asia and Australia have the same timezone. He seems to think that Japan is behind America, but Australia is ahead, which can’t be possible since Tokyo and Brisbane are like an hour apart. But when one guy comes in with the actual facts, Jerma only uses them to back his existing psycho theory meaning he was still largely wrong 💀

Jerma watching an Old Spice commercial and genuinely asking if it was a drink is the proof he's from outer space

@JackMoynihanOfficial 3 years ago

He literally saw Bob Hope and a car and burst out laughing

Jerma has the biggest smile on his face while he watches commercials, unlike anything else he does.

Jerma is the target audience for all these ads

Jerma is genuinely one of the most "American" guys to exist.
Loves wrestling
Loves Baseball
Loves commercials

Generally just enjoys and lives with and in Americana.

Jerma laughed at the guy that suggested he watch old commercials on stream, and it turned out to be incredible. Bravo one guy.

The idea of The Dollhouse on Ice is now embedded into Jeremy's subconscious. Can't wait to see Jerma fall over repeatedly assuming he survived the Axe Dodging.

The ads/infomercial streams are some of my favorite jerma streams tbh

For anyone wondering about the timezone issue, the Republic of Kiribati (a group of islands spanning 2500 miles or 4000km) used to be split by the international date line leaving one part being UTC +12:00 and the other part being UTC -11:00 and -10:00. In 1994 they realigned the international date line around Karibati as being a full day apart in the same country caused a lot of inconveniences. Now the eastern parts of the country reside in the UTC +14:00 and +13:00 timezones making the 3 date scenario possible.

If you look at the map at 11:30 in the video you can see the outcropping timezone around the islands. Although the eastern atoll of Kiritimati is directly below Hawaii and Alaska, they no longer share the same timezones.

1:44:23 jerma (while lifting his shirt up and half squatting to prove that it kinda hurts to make yourself look bloated) asks if what he is doing is, in fact, weird.
he then gets embarrassed and moves on.

something about watching old ads with jerma makes me super nostalgic, even though pretty much all of these ads are older than i am so i have no reason to be nostalgic for them

my brain started seeing jerma as a miniature man on my screen and now i cant see him as anything except one of those virtual pets that walk across ur screen
