it's all smiles when the BB is new, clean and shiny. Trying to remove a 20yr old Trek BB...😫😫

Shimano BB: Clockwise on the drive side to undo ✅

This guy provides really good advice and tips for bike maintenance. Keep up the good work

I always find it useful to watch a video before removing the bottom bracket just to jog my memory on how to do it, especially regarding what unscrews clockwise, I don't think I'll ever remember that without checking first 😁 at least with experience things get easier.

I'll always remember the first time I tried to remove the BB and how stiff the drive side was to remove, bought about 3 or 4 different tools off Amazon, ended up buying a clamp to hold the socket and ratchet in place as in my experience it can easily slip out of the BB splines when applying force.

Clear and concise instructions...best video on bottom bracket removal on YouTube!

Best bottom bracket design ever.  Shimano last for ages.

Removing the Cable clamp grub screws!! Yaaasss. Diamond geezer. Was stumped for about 2 hours trying to get the bloody thing out, literally fell out when I removed the grub screws! Thanks!!

Thank you so much bro. You did help me a lot by explaining all the steps with clarity. I was finally able to remove my bike crankset and bottom bracket on my own without taking it to a repair shop for the first time in my life. Thank you so much once again. God Bless you.

Thank you for showing this video, you saved me from ruining the bike because I don't have those tools , so I'll take it to a shop that has all the tools to work on my bike. God bless

Finally a good video on how to do this for the most common bikes.  Thanks.

Yes really clear explanation showing ALL the steps - much appreciated. I now feel more confident giving it a go. It was all a bit of a mystery before this video. got plenty of time during Covid lockdown to take my time and hopefully finally get rid of my creaking bottom bracket.

Thank you for this video!  I appreciate you walking through every step.  I’m restoring an old bike and had no idea how to deal with a tapered square crank.  There are a million hallowtech vids.

These videos have helped me so much, with bearings removal and replacement in wheels and bottom brackets etc.
Always helpful clear and with some extra tips and precautions thrown in. Many thanks.👍

you are such a blessing! i keep coming back to  you videos and finding what i need. thank you!

I really appreciate the excellent clear and detailed explanation of what to do and why.

Great and straight forward video and explanation! Also nice that you took the time explaining the need to undo the cable lead screw.

Thanks a lot, mine came off without a hitch due to your video.

Brilliant! Very clear - just wish I'd watched this before attempting it.  Now at least I know where I was going wrong and can hopefully put it right...
