We start the day with a super cheap coffee before filling up the car and driving through North Macedonia’s incredible mountain scenery. At Matka Canyon, we explore the dam, walk along the canyon, check out the historic Church of St. Andrew, and take a boat trip through the dramatic cliffs and emerald-green water.
After Matka Canyon, we continue our road trip toward Trpejca and Lake Ohrid. Along the way, we stop for coffee, discover a milk vending machine for the first time, try fresh local milk, watch a beautiful sunset, and have dinner at Di Angolo Pizzeria.
Finally, we arrive at our accommodation near Lake Ohrid, where we’ll wake up to an amazing lake view the next morning.
