I really don't understand how people are saying this was boring. This was a masterclass

People hate on Shakur because they want to be entertained, which is understandable, boxing is entertainment, but those with a sharp boxing eye know that Stevenson is a wonderful boxer, a pure boxer.

I think Shakur's biggest strength is his composure, Stevenson comes in looking to outbox you for 12 whilst his opponents usually want the stoppage (or at least want some action) and you see the impatience from them in spurts. Thats what Shakur waits for and capitalises on. His opponents lack of composure gets them hurt when they get impatient and lunge in or throw off of the emotion of frustration.

Hes a true perfectionist and highly focused in the ring who cant be rushed.

The Luka Doncic of boxing

Padley was done and hurt after 4 rounds. Kid was fighting off seer will. Gotta respect that.

despite shakur hand issues he looked sharp stayed in the pocket and had more volume than a long time.

I like how Shakur came out to the Lion King song “Can’t Wait To Be King”. It shows that even tho he’s undefeated, he knows he’s not King yet but he’s on his way. This kid is good for boxing.  One of the other top fighters are gonna have to fight him sooner or later.

Man… Shakur looked so sharp when he was throwing. Hasn’t looked that sharp or fast with his hands since the Jamel fight. I hope he can get his hands healthy. He’s too talented, boxing needs his talent.

For people who box, this is fun to watch because even though there is a big skill gap, it gives you a glimpse of what are considered basics to Shakur as a boxer. And on the other end what strategy Padley could have applied, how he could have adjusted or thought of to step up against a more skilled opponent.

Yea it was a 3 day notice and not a great fight. Great effort to Padley! But as a student of the game this helps us improve.

We all run into better fighters eventually, as GSP used to say someone out there has your number, you just haven’t run into them yet. But wonderful display of skill by both fighters.

They can say what they want This boi sharp as hell😮

When u watch in slow motion u appreciate Shaka skills level

MAD RESPECT TO THIS Josh Padley.!!!

He literally beating the shit out of a undefeated fighter and they still hating

That 1 commentator was hatin crazy on shakur while currently puttin BTA

I go back to this fight every now and again because as a full time electrician myself watching this makes me believe that one day I can go 9 rounds in the ring with shakur too!

Stevenson looks sharp.
He needs to take time off to let the hand heal properly.

Padley is amazing. I expect to see him again soon.

so much thanks turki 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Coming out to " i just cant wait to be king " is amazing work XD and that he sang along the lines of " working on my ROAR " XD
