A somber funeral gets violently interrupted when The Motherfucker's (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) crew ambushes the heroes during their moment of mourning—what should be a peaceful goodbye becomes absolute chaos as gunfire erupts and Hit-Girl (Chloë Grace Moretz) commandeers a vehicle, leading to an insane high-speed chase through the streets. The scene shows how far the villain conflict has escalated, with The Motherfucker willing to attack even at a funeral, forcing the heroes to abandon grief and immediately fight for survival. Watching mourners become combatants and a hearse or funeral car become a getaway vehicle is peak Kick-Ass tonal chaos, where no moment is too sacred for violence and even paying respects to the dead can turn into a life-or-death car chase within seconds.

Get your haha pick!

Kick-Ass 2 follows Dave Lizewski as he joins forces with other amateur superheroes to form the team Justice Forever, while Mindy Macready struggles to balance her life as Hit-Girl with the pressures of being a normal teenager. I was always annoyed he never found out his friend essentially got his dad killed

The most depressing part of the funeral ambush scene is the cops attending not out of respect, but because they were afraid something would happen; then something DID happen and the cops ended up being useless.

Hit Girl is a great character.

This movie is so great because it makes fun of all the ridiculousness of shoot em upMovies but keeping really good action scenes at the same time.

Glad they blanked out the swearing while showing some seriously good violence.... lol

So glad they blanked out the curse words in this scene. My kids could have been really traumatised, they're both under 10.

We need a Kick Ass 3.

When she was on the roof of the car one of the goons was shooting continuously but not a single bullet could hit her. That was some serious plot armour.

When Mr Lizewski was in his son's bedroom and saw his outfit and blood on his weapons, he said, "This is the real world with real consequences", in my opinion, that foreshadows his death when two prisoners came in his cell and killed him and took a picture of him.

Funny how in the movies, during chase scenes on the road, people just ignore the folks shooting at each other and just keep on driving.😮😅😂😅😂

I didn't think that cells in police stations would have side doors.

I always found it curious yet odd as to how Chris never questioned why Todd's costume looked suspiciously like Kick-Ass and he just blindly invites him on his team without even a second's thought.
