The parents of dismembered woman Mindi Mebane Kassotis took the stand Thursday afternoon in the trial of accused killer Nicholas Kassotis, recalling moments leading up to their daughter’s murder. In their testimony, they spoke about receiving threats and witnessing odd occurrences between the couple in the time leading up to the gruesome killing.

A very strange family. They didn't ask for death certificate, they didn't see their dead daughter, there was no funeral. RIP😢

Her mom is unbeliveable. She is a witness in her own daughters murder case. And yet she is smiling(laughing even) and says stuff like "now everyone will know how old i am"? What?

I’m so confused! Why didn’t the mom call or text with her supposedly pregnant daughter while she was supposedly in the hospital???!!! I’m a mother of 5 and there’s no way in the world I wouldn’t know exactly what was going on with my children! And then she DIED and no one in the family demanded to go see her???!!!!! No funeral???!!!! Wtaf is going on with these people???!!!!

This is crazy !! Sometimes you have to ask questions to our kids to make sense of the things that don’t make sense ! We are not prying we are ttying to understand ..

Based on sight, and first conversation, I would not hire the defendant as an atty, or the dad as a financial advisor, or attend his church....or any law office who had such employee as the mom.
