We quit the corporate work life because they only give you an average of 3 weeks of vacation. 3 or even 5 weeks is not enough time to see this world. We now work on contract for 9 months and travel for 3 months. It's the best move we've ever made. But, early on we definitely wasted time and money on vacations. This channel is all about finding vacations that aren't going to waste your time and money. Vacations that are truly special.

Great advice. I did EBC in April of 2022. One option is to bring a bag of small trinkets that you can give to kids along the trail. I brought a bag of little rubber poppers. They love them and they were so happy.

Sunrise on Kala Patthar: You don't need to leave Gorakshep until 4:00 am to catch sunrise on Everest, and it is spectacular because the light comes over Everest to light up all of the other mountains, and the shadow cast by Everest on the valley is phenomenal. Definitely worth it.

My wife and I did the EBC in November 2024, the weather was absolutely perfect, much busier but completely clear.
We are 70 and the level of fitness was tolerable, no issues .
I would say it was one of the best things we have done and that says a lot as we are currently sailing around the world 🌍.
