"If we go to Atlanta like this, we'll lose the series!"
In Game 2 of the NLDS, the Dodgers lost to the Braves, tying the series at 1-1.
Shohei Ohtani went hitless in 8 at-bats with runners in scoring position.
He chased balls outside the strike zone and couldn't perform at his best.
Poor fielding by Theoscar and a wild pitch by Bouvich allowed the Braves to take the lead, and the team repeatedly lost momentum.
Furthermore, manager Dave Roberts' decisions are a subject of debate.
A bunt with no outs and a runner on second base.
Max Muncy was dropped from the starting lineup and replaced early.
Edwin Diaz was replaced after he retired the side in order with just 12 pitches.
Was this truly the best strategy to win Game 2?
However—
Amidst the defeat, there was one pitcher who showed remarkable resilience.
Roki Sasaki.
In the 8th inning, with the bases loaded and one out after three walks and a hit-by-pitch,
Sasaki managed to get Acuña to double play from a seemingly hopeless situation. Then, in the 9th inning, he recorded a 102.1 mph pitch and retired the side in order.
He corrected his pitching in just one inning.
"Dodgers, watch Sasaki!"
More frightening than his collapse in Game 2 is the possibility of him failing to recover in Game 3.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto will start the next game.
And can Shohei Ohtani regain his zone?
Can the Dodgers replicate the "ability to correct" that Roki Sasaki demonstrated as a team?
From the perspectives of legends, we will thoroughly examine the reasons for the loss in Game 2 and the challenges for Game 3.
What do you think was the biggest reason for this loss?

This video is original content that re-edits current events and the latest topics in Major League Baseball from a unique perspective and structure, adding Japanese translations and commentary for deeper understanding. It goes beyond simply presenting results, carefully delving into the flow of the game, players' intentions, tactical background, and even elements that are difficult to express in statistics, aiming to get to the heart of "why that play happened."
Furthermore, referencing various news reports and official records, we incorporate data analysis and comparisons with past examples to help viewers understand Major League Baseball in a more comprehensive way. It's like a legendary commentator who has been on the field speaking, shedding light on the behind-the-scenes aspects of plays, players' thought processes, and the details that influence the game. This is a parody aimed at providing an informational experience that "becomes more interesting the more you know" for those who want to enjoy baseball more deeply.
