Someone Jumped My Claim… But It Led to My BEST Gold Yet!

Record-breaking heat in Denver? Nope, I'll spend the day at my gold claim!

When Timber and I arrived at the KGP Grand Placer gold claim today something was off. There were clear signs that a possible claim jumper may have been working the claim.

After checking things out, I decided to run a few test buckets anyway and this claim just produced the biggest picker gold I’ve seen from it so far.

In this video:
• Evidence of a possible claim jumper
• Working my Colorado gold claim
• Digging fresh paydirt material
• Running test buckets for gold
• Biggest gold found on this claim yet

Owning a gold claim comes with its own challenges and sometimes, unexpected rewards.

The trail cams have been reviewed and turned over to BLM - Lawsuit incoming claim jumpers! I will share what I can, when I am allowed.

What a beautiful surprise!! Can you imagine if you had one of your watchers out there for their first panning experience and panned that??!! Woo Hoo! Way to go Shane! 😊

Huh. I think my claim isn't all that far away from yours. Happy prospecting! :)

I like it because your tailings are going right in the bucket in case you realize you're going too fast

@Klesh.. putting the bilge pump inside a mesh paint strainer will help save on running dirt thru the pump...available at most any hardware or paint stores 1&5 gallon sizes, also foam sanding blocks in some soapy water to season new pans

Nice!

Might be worth getting those extra permits, so you can drag a highbanker out there.

Hope you find your claim jumper!

Take care.

Good morning. Pretty cool video. I’m glad you weigh up your gold even if it’s a little bit just because we’re curious after all that work you have done. we’d like to see the values. Also, even if you clouded the faces of those claim jumpers we’d love to see a piece of that video. Even if you don’t identify them, we’re just curious if it was one person or many. I personally enjoy watching your videos when you go to your claim to process product. Also, I know many people enjoy your product reviews of other companies. That’s very helpful.
