One of my favorite comic book films of all time

Fun fact about Miguel: He’s very different from most Spider-Men because instead of being bit by a spider, he had his DNA merged with a spider’s. Because of this he doesn’t have Spidey-Sense (as shown around 4:26 when he didn’t notice the Vulture getting up), he can’t stick to walls (around 32:22 you see he uses claws instead to get up the train) and he has fangs that can produce venom ( 5:41 ). I love how this movie shows us his powers in such subtle ways

11:38 the whole Lego animation wasn’t even made by a professional animator it was a random middle schooler who made a fan animation for the trailer in Lego and Sony Pictures got the kid to animate the Lego universe scenes

bro the bit when miles goes against everyone and all the spidermans are chasing him is so cold. the music was actually great and felt to epic

if you go back to the first movie you can see SO many foreshadowing, first off when miles finds the spider IN THE SUBWAY, the spider glitches because its not from that universe, second when miles meets peter (the blonde one) the colors go from purple and  green (i think) to blue and red, symbolizing that he was originally supposed to be the prowler but since his canon event was altered he is now spider man.

If the third one lives up to how good the first two spider-verse films have been, this trilogy should honestly be in the conversation for one of the greatest trilogies of all time.

Lil fun fact- LiSA actually has a song that was written for Across the Spiderverse called REALiZE. There's a lyric video for it on her channel

Earth 42 having a Latin accent because he grew up closer to his moms roots is auch a great detail.

Also, Miguel isn't really a vampire, spiders bite stuff all the time with their fangs to inject a paralytic venom.  He is badass af though.  Highly recommend checking out Spider-Man 2099 comics to get caught up on his story

This movie built the hype SO HIGH that I’m worried it won’t land. There are so many big emotional plot points to cover in the next one: miles dad maybe dying, telling his parents, other miles, spot, Gwen’s dad not gonna die, her universe might collapse, Miguel isn’t Spider-Man reveal. This is so much to cover it’s gonna have to be like 3 hours

21:06 yeah he definitely watched this before

11:53 Fun fact there was this kid who remade into the spider verse in Lego for fun and they got his help to do the Lego scene in this movie

The bad news is that we still gotta wait a lot for the third installment.

The good news is that it WON'T be 5 years. Only 2. Its release was confirmed for summer 2027 (assuming it won't be delayed). SO LET'S GOOOO!

Miles (prowler) of earth-42 was supposed to be spider man, we see this in spots backstory that spider of earth - 42 was ready to bite him before he got taken away by kingpins scientists, and when our miles discovered the spider after he got bit he meets Peter Parker and his spider senses were prowler colours... and they changed into normal spider mans senses (they're roles got switched, which didn't really break the canon)

Btw nick, our miles was supposed to be prowler, continuing his uncles journey. Which means peter also wouldn't had to save him, ending up with him not dying. And then the miles from earth 42 was supposed to be bit by the spider our miles was, which had the 42 name on it. Miles went to earth 42 because the machine read the codes of the spider what bit him, spider 42. If you remember that spider was also glitching when it bit miles. And if you haven't realized, earth 42 has no spiderman because miles was never bit there.

i remember when i was on the movie theater and the movie began and the art of gwen's dimension, the music.. bro i almost cried of joy because it was SO DAMN BEAUTIFUL to see it in the big screen.. god it was amazing

41:13 His face lol. The moment we thought Aaron bashed Miles' brains in 🤯

For anyone worried about the next part, it will happen, and it will be good.

There were issues with the production of the film. The direcror is incredibly indecisive, and many changes were made during animation. Many artists had to work extensively and for many hours. Not sure what the exact wuote is, but I even recall an artist saying something along the lines of "The movie is amazing, and I'm honored to be a part of its creation, but I'll never do that again."

If you dont care about the animators, then all you jave to worry about is the time it will take to get this out.

But the animators of this film worked tirelessly on a constantly shifting storyline as well. The only thing guaranteed is the quality of the next movie.

Fun fact: the voice actor of the  indian Spiderman is the taxi driver on Deadpool 😅

7 times watched it and still extremelyyy enjoying it

43:09 This movie shows imo how the multiverse can be a cool thing if executed right. The same goes for me with Invincible for example.
