The judge said Flynn could have walked away from his marriage but instead chose to kill Ashley in their home while their children slept nearby, leaving his daughters with lifelong scars and questions that can never be answered. Flynn was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole, followed by additional consecutive prison terms for tampering with evidence and firearm specifications.
