Nike needs to make Jordan better! Better materials, more breathability, and better foam/cushion, without changing the looks!! Because it’s now for us older dads/gpaws. That’s just facts🤷🏻‍♂️

@triniboy05 5 days ago

Nike still doesn’t get it. The new generation doesn’t care about Jordan basketball sneakers; and the older generation who purchased them care more about comfort and have bills and responsibilities, so they’re not interested in paying $220+ to be uncomfortable.

Jordan needs to reduce the number of drops but keep stock high. No one wants to return to scarcity. That’s only good for backdoored resellers and I think we all hate them.

@staticvoid693 5 days ago

The scarcity model is what made many people turn to other brands in the first place.

@whymeagainjoe 5 days ago

The problem was the resellers that got their hands on backdoors. If Nike would have sold the shoe to only chain shoe stores that everyone has access to buy from everyone would have had a chance to buy the shoes they want but instead the shoes became a speculative asset for resellers who didn't care about the shoe or brand.

Yeah right, Nike said that they were discontinuing the AF1's and never did

StockX is about to reject all those sneaker boxes bent after the fights

Nike have a simple turnaround recipe.
1. Cut down # of releases, by a lot.
2. Slash stock numbers across the board, except for Super GRs. Only 6 super GRs per year
3. Stop the early pairs from getting into the market early. Set a strict policy for retailers to have all pairs the day before release and send proof. Investigate and penalize stores who are caught.
4. Increase quality of materials. Better quality control on pairs. Better insoles in all pairs, even look at protroing 1-14 jordans for more comfort

Demna is reaching back into his Balenciaga bag with the "Made In China" Gucci shoes.

I keep hearing Nike say: "We're scaling down retro Jordans".... Then within hours.... A tonne of new, retro Jordans drop!! 😂😂

see the problem is not cutting the retros to make em scarce , why not improve quality and use softer PU compounds and PU insoles and do not release colors out of ASS, like jordan 1s common do we need 2 new colors every month why not do a good OG color with better materials every 2 months or so , Focus on product than quantity and why release so many retros but only 1-14 why not make more of 16 17 21 and more.
