what a kind, genuine person he is. hozier has such a gentle energy to him, i could listen to him talk for literal ages. i saw him live a bit more than a month ago and it was absolutely the best concert i've ever been to. he talked about the meaning of Francesca there, too, and i think it's such a beautiful re-interpretation of her appearance in the divine comedy. i love how genuinely humble and down-to-earth he is, i will never forget that at the end of the show i went to, he took the time to personally thank every single person who was in any way part of his performance, be it his band, the technicians, the tour manager, he gave everyone a personal shoutout. that's really stuck with me since then because it really shows how hozier takes none of this for granted and i feel like every time he thanked you guys for anything during this interview, he really meant it. he just seems like such a genuinely good human and that's wonderful because we really can't have enough of those :')

He is such a breath of fresh air in today's celebrity culture. Educated and well spoken. ❤

as someone with adhd i can sit through this album no skip

As a farmer, thank you Andrew for saying soil and not dirt.

he’s a godfather 😭😭 i’m sobbing (like no i’m actually sobbing)

waiting patiently for the other 10ish songs

Great interview. I've been listening to this album almost every day since it was out. I love watching interviews to get to know a little better the meaning behind some of the songs.
There is pure poetry in this album. The ability that this man has to leave me a puddle of tears when I hear so many of his songs in unmatched.

Elephant in the room-
Where the hell is the other 10 songs!!?? That is an entire Hozier album just sitting ducks, collecting dust!

I love that he is such a gentleman!!! He was struggling to say it was the circle of hell of lust because her name is Francesca.

28:53 Hell would be totally worth it if I knew I'd be getting tossed off. 😉

At night, after a brandy, I sit, work one of my puzzles and listen to this great album front to back... ah it's great...it brings me so much peace and pleasure. Thank you Hosier 😌

His mind is beautiful.

Shout-out to you girls for patiently listen and relate! Loved the interview ❤

I'd put francesca in psych+hard rock with pop vocals

So cool that he mentioned Big Thief, Hozier and Big Thief are my top two favorites, thanks for this beautiful video!

I do the exact same thing as Hozier did with "toss off" - I frequently accidentally say something without thinking about the exact word choice, & it's slightly horrifying 😅😭

There's a family of Gleason actors. Love them all. Domhall is a son. Brendan is dad. I look for films with any Gleason. Brendan is in the film In Bruges... hilarious and dark. A favorite.

I need big thief/ Adrianne lenker and Hozier collab

Release the vault!

The only thing I’m taking from this interview is that there are 10 songs waiting to be released 👀
