27:24 Who would win, 20 villagers desperately trying to stop a tower from being built or 1 speedy hammer boi

Sometimes I wake up at night.... I can't move or open my eyes....
But I can hear the Babylonian Guard Towers shoot...

would have never thought the 3+7 damage makes the villagers a realistic option to use for attacks

Catapults hate him! See how this Babylonian Tower managed to get double HP.

"sir, a bunch of enemy peasents are punching at our barrack"
"what?"
"... and it starts to burning"
" YOU WHAT?! "

I think you maybe could have built more towers.

Those towers closely resemble the home of a certain Squid that lives under the sea...

For those who question the authenticity of the random map. The resources are calculated and dispersed across the map based on the number of players and the map size. Just try the same settings as what he did and you will see.

I like playing on smaller maps with 1 vs 7 computers as well. In most games I get piles of resources of each type beside my town centre.

There's a certain enjoyment in seeing that background screen instead of the definitive edition one.

I hate how the A.I. just forgets there's supposed to be several factions, but always ends up gunning for the player. :/

I used to notice that in Age of Empires 1, after a long enough war of attrition, the AI will just give up and stop using their units or building new ones. You notice this especially in this game here- Blue finds huge piles of gold left unmined in enemy territory- the AI just didn't bother to use its resources after a while.
