Thanks for the lesson! I've been familiar with your work for awhile, so when this video showed up in my search and I thought "How haven't I seen this before!?" Turns out it's only a month old 😄but it arrived just at the right time as I'm about to start a print project and am a bit intimidated by the wetting and inking stages.

What do you think about using pine wood for this technique? It’s like the only kind of wood I can find in my city.

I have one question- I want to be working on lino though- the transfer sheets seem to be not always exactly the same size- I mean talking about a millimetre - also when you print later on, the paper has a very unique size, nothing standardized, so how do you make sure, that the layer sit exactly on each other?

Thank you for sharing your process. As a beginner it's super valuable seeing the process that you use. I am personally stuck at the printing and transferring of an image to a block. If you would be willing to share, what exactly is the "gampi" paper you mention? and where do you get it in the US? I have tried with tracing paper and found that the paper changes size significantly when it gets wet with from nori paste as I try to paste it to my block. Keep up the awesome work, your prints a great!

Hi! I’m really enjoying your videos. Question: do you have any issues with your gampi paper peeling up as you carve thereby removing areas you’ve yet to carve? I’m sure I’m doing something wrong. Thanks!

Sono un artista disegnatore e pittore, secondo lei, se volessi passare alla tecnica della xilografia, quale tipo di legno economico si adatterebbe meglio a questa disciplina?
Purtroppo non ho soldi per comprare materiale di qualità.
Volevo semplicemente provare altre tecniche.
E perché no, sperimentando altro..
