Paul is one of the finest men alive. His modesty is not at all false. His genius is revealed forever in Get Back. I love Paul, as, do people all throughout the world.
Love the interviewer, asked good questions and didn't interrupt or ask more question while Paul was still answering that last one. Really nice to listen to.
What makes this the best McCartney interview ever is the fact that the interviewer has done his research and he is asking some very good questions. McCartney responds to this and the two of them are then having a very intelligent conversation which is fascinating to listen to.
If there's one person in the world I'd love to meet it's Paul McCartney. All the comments I've read truly describe the man. When I turned 64 last March I blasted "When I'm 64!" Having said this my hat is off to Bob Costas. I believe he said he had just met Paul a half hour before the interview. 2 points here: 1) Costas did his homework. Great questions! 2) Oftentimes well-known interviewers want to upstage their guest. Bob kept the spotlight on Paul. Never Interrupted him (at least that I could see). If it wasn't for Costas we wouldn't have gained such great insight into the Beatles. Thank you, Bob. Well done!
Paul is by far the best celebrity out there. He’s so real. No false humility, but truly humble at the same time. A great storyteller. So many interesting insights. Bob Costas does a superb job. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview. Paul McCartney is so special. I am a songwriter and watch every interview with him I can find. He shares so much interesting information about his process which is genius. I learn so much.. So glad I found this one. What a gift to this world he is. Just the best.
"I could be performing when I'm 90." I hope so! He's still a got a few more years till then, but Paul McCartney is one of the best, well-spoken rock-musicians ever. He nailed it when he said he had a good childhood. It shows! I fell in love with Sir Paul in 1964 because he was so darn cute and had "bedroom eyes". And he hasn't disappointed since then. Wonderful interview with Bob Costa.
