As a German, waiting for someone else to bag my groceries wrong is a nightmare scenario

A way most european grocery stores tell you that "this food is almost expired" is by basicaly sticking a sticker, usualy pink or orange, that lowers the price of the main product. Basicaly an end of life discount :D

Water is in the water aisle. Vegetables and fruit are always right when you enter the supermarket

The thing about water in European stores is that it often takes an entire isle on its own.

"Where's the water?" In the tap, perfectly drinkable in most of Europe.

These videos made me realise that I actually do not want to set foot in America ever lol

"Where's the water?" IN THE WATER AISLE! WHICH SHOULD BE TWO AISLES OVER!

There is nothing illegal about using a token instead of a coin (50 cent, 1euro or 2euro) to get your grocery cart. Most stores will give you a token for free if you ask.

Comparing American beer to German, Czech or Polish is like comparing sugar to chocolate.😂

It’s not Perestroika it’s Perekrestok what translates as “ intersection “

As long as warnings like "do not put animals inside" (microwave) or "do not drink washer fluid" (car manual) are necessary in America, there shouldn't be pineapple slicers or bread slicers public reachable in Groceriestores.

First pics are 100% ragebait. Too heavy to be serious 😂

That yellow coin she put in the cart is completely legal. Supermarkets make them themselves. You can use them if you don´t use coins or cash at all.

things like the avocado scanner and pineapple cutter are quite rare and only a thing in more modern stores in better areas. the in-store bread cutter, however, has become pretty standard across the country

Going to the "Soda" Sektion - where is the water?
Going to the "sweet" Sektion - where is the bread? 🤯

I'm in the UK, and I much prefer to bag my own groceries. That way, I don't get all the heavy items in the same bag, and any delicate items don't get squashed.

10:35 The thing about those open pastry sections, is that there's always someone restocking it with fresh products, and they do notice if someone touches stuff for shits and giggles. Also, for civilized people there is a common sense rule of 'you touch it, you buy it'.

4:30 this is not illegal, at least not in Germany . It is actually very common for shops to distribute such plastic tokens with the company's brandings. And it comes very handy - I hardly ever have the right coin with me but the plastic token is always ready.
