  The Nootka Island Trail is a remote hike on Nootka Island, located on the pacific west coast in BC Canada, it is generally accessed through Gold River or Tahsis. we hiked this one and travelled by boat through Tahsis, using Shorebird Expeditions to drop us off at Tongue Point. the hike immediately brings you infront of a large shipwreck. as you travel down through Louie Lagoon, you eventually will see buoys that bring you to the inland section of the trail. this section is almost a bushwack, but is marked. Third Beach is the first stop, a stunning beach 5km into the hike. Day 2 we hiked to Calvin Falls, where your in and out of the trail and beaches for a couple kms. at that point you are on the beach until shortly after Beano Creek. Day 4 consists of alot of inland and pocket beaches. day 5, Sea Stack beach is 1 km from the end of the hike.
