After an epic 1,000-mile journey, we finally arrive in the beautiful South of France, ready to start our holiday... but things don't quite go to plan.

Our friends are told they don't have a booking, the campsite is fully booked, and after all that driving, they're left with nowhere to pitch up. What follows is 24 hours of stress, phone calls, and uncertainty before we finally find a solution.

Thankfully, our enormous pitch comes to the rescue! Somehow we manage to fit two twin-axle caravans, two canopies, all our outdoor furniture, and still have plenty of space to relax. With the drama finally behind us, it's time to kick back, soak up the sunshine, and begin enjoying our holiday on the beautiful Côte d'Azur.

Got to love an E LeClerc Hypermarket. It’s so much better than anything we have in the UK. Let’s hope the rest of your holiday is less stressful, but you’ll be telling stories about the pitch mix up for years to come.

Brilliant vlog Stacey things happen for a reason and you’ve made the best out of a bad situation I’m sure if it had been your pitch was not available that Ollie & Becky would have done the same for you that’s what great friends do Looks a great site the kids are having a ball so are the big kids too your own food at the caravan looked much better than the restaurant food William certainly loves his steak

Amazing having your own washing machine on your pitch. I am glad you got your friends on your pitch, we would have done the same if it happened to us. Looks like you are all going to have a great holiday. Looking forward to your costings.

Things happen for a reason, and it’s all worked out perfectly for both families in the end. Enjoy making lots of lovely memories while you’re there, and don’t sweat the small stuff. Becky and Ollie will look back and laugh about it one day. Have an amazing time! ❤️

Glad you all arrived safe & sound.
A long journey and how lovely to have your friends share your pitch too.
You certainly well organised and have a great set up too.
Watch the sunburn it looked very sore, hope you had factor 30 or 50 on like I use being fair too.
Glad Lola okay too.
Too hot to take Dogs away in this extreme heat.

I actually cried when you all joined together to start your holiday together. I had just said to my brother you could get two caravans in your pitch when voila, you did! Fair play sharing your pitch. There is going on holiday with your friends and then there is holidaying with them! What was the craic you mentioned about your pitch, was it not what you booked either?
