McManaman and Fowler had a telepathic partnership

Johnny Barnes.... what a player he was!

John Barnes God Tier Backheel

8:27 😮😂 James made capital mistakes several times before but this throw was unbelievable

John barnes, my favourite liverpool player ever. Even when injuries slowed him down my oh my he could still play. He was top notch

We were well in decline at this time just as the mancs were going from strength to strength.
I remember feeling utter despair in those dark horrible days

robbie fowler doesnt run that fast, but his finishing is something special...

David “calamity” James was an absolutely shocking keeper, he cost us so many games.

Absolutely fantastic McManaman, Fowler and Barnes!

I came here for the Barnes back heel flick goal. It was just like how I remembered. This was an exciting Liverpool team with Barnes, Fowler, Macca, Berger and Redknapp who was injured, just a shame defensively we were so poor.  Look at the Sion players at the end trying to get Diggers and Maccas shirts, can you blame them. 😀

Ironic with the late, great Ray Clemence on commentary we get this goalkeeping clown show!

My first Liverpool game 😍😁

I was on a Plymouth based ship at the time. Took a 'Make  & Mend' and drove up, watched the match and straight back to Plymouth to be up and 'Turned to' onboard for 0800 Thursday. Also at the Anfield leg of the semi v PSG

The giant cowbell in the away end!

I left work at 4.30 in Doncaster and got delayed by an accident on the m62 for this game and got to the game late and we were 2-0 down, the rest was brilliant

Oh lord the memories, Live TV, I remember that channel they were how I got to watch a lot of our cup winners cup games, I think our game Vs brondby and sk braann were shown on that channel as well. loved the cup winners cup

Berger, Fowler and Shaggy, that trio were so electrifying, such a shame we couldn't shut the door at the back and James couldn't catch a cold

Baggy shirts, baggy nets, Live TV, Graham Beecroft on Radio Merseyside: marvellous !! 😎

Steve Mc Man the great player for Liverpool n Real Madrid

So good I was at this game

Was at that game, the sion fans was class all game..cowbells and swapping scarfs with the reds
