I was a young teenager confused about Islam until I met Shaykh Hamza. When I first traveled to meet him I still had drugs in my pocket. Through his teachings my life changed and I entered a journey to study with some of the greatest scholars of our time in the Arab World for many years. May Allah bless him!

Growing up in Saudi Arabia, I never heard of Shaykh Hamza Yusuf. It was only after moving to the US for college that I discovered the wisdom Allah has given him, which inspired me to truly love Islam and practice it deeply. Alhamdulillah, he was the main reason so much blessing came into my life. May Allah bless you, Mo, for bringing him onto the podcast. Please consider inviting Dr. Umar Faruq Abd-Allah, who is an encyclopedia of knowledge and a highly regarded scholar even by Shaykh Hamza himself.

I'll tell tell you his legacy.
Since we had dialup Internet I've been listening to Sheigh Hamza.
Whenever I needed clarity I'd listen to Him.
One day Allah most glorious is He , will let Sheigh Hamza see and meet all of his unknown students, Ameen ❤

I’m at a time of life in my 60s taking care of my daughter who’s been in active addiction for 10 years. She’s in recovery past 6 weeks. She recently went into cardiac arrest and neared death. I’m far from the path but I’m finding my way back to Islam through our brother Hamzah . May Allah Almighty reward him. Ameen.

Hamza yusuf is a blessing to this generation, he has a distinctive perception and my favourite sheikh walahy. He changed how i view the world, He was a father figure for me at a time when I needed solace dearly. I have his books. Seeing a new lecture with Hamza yusuf is like receiving a million dollars, in retrospect his words are worth more than that. Also Ousama Al shurafah and Mohammed Hijab. They are a blessing to this ummah. May Allah grant them Umr and let us benefit from their naseeha. ❤️❤️✨

He is the person who compelled me to think how eloquent the Creater will be .He is the mirror.A great man by listening him i decided to read the Quran and study islam .I am born muslim but youth need masters like him .I will pray for him in every namaz . His remembrance always bring smile on my face .he is really a great person in this age .Salam shykh!

So good to see Shaykh Hamza being interviewed here and his learning amplified. Just a bit of constructive advice to the content creator - you don't need to do many "slick effect edits" at the start when you have a truly authentic subject and speaker. A little goes a long way - let their words breathe without OTT distractions! May Allah reward all involved.
