Finish the Alter ASAP!
You get double primal drops when finished.

I may have to hard disagree here, except in niche situations.

The shrine/pylon potion power may be worth going for 1st. You can end up stacking multiple shrine effects in just a couple minutes, plus an occasional power pylon boost, allowing to overcome resource/speed/damage/pickup-radius deficits that fill in the gaps all early builds will have. If there are no gaps, the builds simply become that much more powerful. These effects are very strong. Not to mention, a 5th shrine effect can be had: Boosted XP. Combined with Gloves of Worship, the total buffs are insane, but even without, it's still multiple buffs. I would argue that they do more for any activity in the game than simply having 1 really good item. It would be more profitable to simply attempt an ancient reroll on a very crappy weapon at first, but even then, it's not that big of a deal to just roll slightly lower torments or GRs and just blast through them quickly.

I personally wasn't even that interested in the shrine potion effect at first, but it was the first one I went for once I was ready. Boy howdy was I wrong about it. It's amazing, and you don't even have to lose health to use it with that power. The only downside is pre-potting to maximize buffs means not having an extra emergency heal available.

It's true that individual shrines typically aren't that impressive as a one-off buff. But when you can guarantee stacking new shrine powers every 30 seconds, plus the possibility of a short quad damage, the results are QUITE insane.

The faster you get 2 primals drop from all three potions upgrades, the easier is to craft a perfect primal. Otherwise, one risks to get crappy stats for twice time/effort expenses--when only one primal drops per 400 legendaries.

Pushing is how you level up your gems.  So pushing early on is a benefit since it means you can speedrun at a higher level rift.  At least the first potion benefit is worth it (the one that gives you shrine effects), though the second and third can probably be left to later.

Don't re-roll a crafted primal, re-roll a normal non-ancient one and salvage the bad crafted primal to get half of your ashes back

Played for 3 days, DH GOD build. GR 90 in less than 2 mins. Used the first 6 primals to finish alter. Lucky, the 6 primals was bad. But the double Primal is so worth it!. Been getting primal drop like crazy now.

Didn't read the patch note. Created 2 primals for different slots. Yes, you can only equip one created primal. lol. Was so sad.

Unbelievably usefull tip!!! I upgraded an amazing Vallas Request for my DH, perfect stats and went immediately from straggling at GR85 to comfortably clearing GR90!!! Everybody must do this. Your vids are soooooo helpful. Any suggestions for the followers and which ones to use?? Just found out about scoundrel's cloud and it melts, but I straggle to keep him alive...

there goes my farming character... this should be stated in the game itself, not patch notes, not youtube videos, the damn cube recipe page

currently tryin to kill Chitara for last piece of the staff of hedring so I'm curious how long might take that cus I'm at 100 runs doin only the bounty and no item yet😁😁

I upgraded both weapons thinking I could use them both at the same time. lol

I wish i have seen your video b4.
Just used primals for the altar haha.

So... I didnt knew about Primal Ancient Legendary for ONLY one Altar equiped item.... I just lost an important ring from the legendary Focus Restraint Set.... I needed to know about that (Only one equiped) prior to experimenting with the altar! 😂😢😢

Me and my buddies argue f if the Nagel ring actually helps with primal ancients? Will more drop if you wear the ring?

You are an Expert Sir!  Thank you!  10 away from Platinum trophy!  How do you get primal ashes?

Does the recipe work for set item like BK set sword becomes primal ancient BK set sword?

I also disagree. Getting the father potion is extremely helpful. I also used two primals to salvage in order to get an ancient puzzle ring.

can you equip an upgraded legendary item onto a follower?

im paragon 60 something and have never seen a primal nor did i get one at 70

I got a crap primal at 70 so it was an easy choice to salvage.
