Experience the entire el Camino de Santiago French Way pilgrimage in this documentary as I walk the legendary Camino Frances from St Jean Pied de Port to Santiago de Compostela, and continue onward to the dramatic coast of Finisterre. This film captures my full (mostly)
solo pilgrimage journey across northern Spain on the Camino Frances, exploring the spiritual, physical, and emotional challenges of the Camino. From the Pyrenees to the "end of the world", this documentary offers a POV dive into the history, culture, and profound personal transformation that the Camino inspires. Whether you're planning your own pilgrimage or simply fascinated by this ancient path, this movie provides a comprehensive look at the full Camino experience. Buen Camino! Ultreia et Suseia!

Kate, just watched the complete video with my wife (who, due to being the caregiver to our 40 year old daughter who has an intellectual disability) has never done a Camino. She was inspired to witness your growth in confidence from week one to the end at Finisterre. She was surprised and delighted to see that I featured in the photo in Reliegos. She was equally delighted to see Harry as I had spoken about him so often. So the positive outcome of watching the video: we are going to try and arrange care for our daughter in order to take on a short Camino for myself and Susan in 2025. I enjoyed your reflection video. It was very thoughtful and realistic. Thank you and Buen Camino. Tony

Kate. My wife and I have just finished watching your full Camino
Video. I walked the same dates as you. Aug 21. - Sept 29th of 2023. We met along the way a couple of times and both times you were with Harry. On afternoon late Harry, you, and I sat on a bench in a town square. Harry and I talked while you edited your videos of the day. I wife really identified with you and was quite complementary of all your work putting this complete video together. To my surprise I am even in your video on day 7 or 8. It was such fun to watch your video, see some of the people I also met along the way (Harry, Christina, Debbie, Janet and Gary from Colorado, Jeanette). It was quite amazing as we watched the video with my itinerary in hand ,pictures I took which contained the date taken, and at the same time watching your movie. Thank you for allowing me to relive my journey and enjoy all your filming at the same time. Some of my family joined me on the Camino also. Three of my adult children walked different parts with me and it was so fun building those memories with them. Linda, my wife and I returned to the Camino and walked from St Jean starting on the 15th of September and slowly walked to Pamplona over a five day period. She is now officially hooked after watching your movie and having a taste of the Camino and wants to return and perhaps complete the journey in maybe three more stages.
I wish you all the best and thank you for sharing your journey. Greg Hendrix from Alabama, (U S)

good job Kate, walking the Camino is a most wonderful experience, maybe the best experience a human can have - my wife Nick and I walked the Camino Franćes in 2015 and on to Finesterre and Muxia then in 2019 the Norté Primitivo to Santiago followed by the English Way from Ferrol, we were bonded ever more closely by these experiences of walking together being in each other’s company continually for six weeks plus - then in 2023 cancer took Nick away from me so the natural thing to do was walk from SJPP to Santiago again and visit every Cathedral, Church and Chapel lighting candles and leaving small piles of ash at particular locations, it was our last journey together, I am unlikely to walk another Camino . . . but then, one should never say never 👣🇦🇺

I have watched many Camino videos, and many are very good, but this is by far the best.
I feel so much gratitude to people who take the time to do this and share the incredible experience of the Camino. I have done sections of both the Camino Frances and the Camino Portuguese. Each time, I watched videos of those who had gone before to prepare. I find them to be very helpful.
No one should underestimate what it took to make such a magnificent documentary. I tried and gave up. Carrying a camera, backpack, and negotiating difficult terrain while also narrating your experience is a great skill. Well done, Kate, and thanks ❤

Kate, I thoroughly enjoyed your video. Very personal and respectful. Can well understand how the 'camino' can have some deep effect on people. Too old to try it myself but really appreciate your evolution through the process. Thanks for sharing.

Omg, as an introvert, some of those places look like nightmares for me 😂 I need more money to book solo places most of the time haha

Beautiful, just beautiful. You were able to capture the emotions of the trail, spectacular views, and the shared experiences of other pilgrims. Yes, a privilege indeed to be able to do this trek. You have inspired me to do this soon. Thank you.

I have walked the Camino 3 times solo including from Santiago to St Jean (you would love that). I loved your blog so much because you capture the fears of pilgrims and enjoying the daily progress. I particularly enjoyed your insights into the places we see as pilgrims. You are never alone on a Camino.

Thank you so much for this wonderful video. I am considering walking the Camino for my 75th birthday next year, and your walk has given me confidence. Also, I want to say that I think we are distantly related. My grandparents are all from England - Lancashire and London - you look very much like my niece, and many in our family have red hair. My grandparents last names were Burns and Pizey.

I really enjoyed watching your video and journey along the Camino. What made your video stand out from others I have watched is the footage of your journey that you captured and shared...absolutely spectacular! Some of the music you chose at specific parts of the journey actually brought tears to my eyes - i.e. when you reached Santiago. Thank you for your sharing your journey.

What a wonderful journey. Your commentary, grit and determination, highs and lows and the beautiful scenery and fellow pilgrims made watching this an absolute pleasure.

Kate. Thank you, thank you. The Camino has been on my bucket list for quite some time, but life got in the way. However, I have been planning to do it next year, fall 2026. I will be turning 70 while on the Way. I came across your channel by chance and your video is a masterpiece. Your authenticity comes across loud and clear. The views and your choice of music is simple but so inspirational. The best Camino documentary have seen. Thank you, thank you.

The best Camino video I’ve seen by far. She captures the essence of the Frances route. Beautifully shot and edited. Thank you
