“…you knew?” he whispered, realization dawning on him.
“Hmm?” She asked from the kitchen, chopping up the vegetables for the nights dinner.
“You knew,” he spoke a bit louder, bile rising in his throat as he waited for her refusal. Instead, she looked up at him with a soft smile, pausing her meal prep.
“I did,” she replied softly. It was different from her normal smile, sickening, almost pitying.
“Since when?” He spoke, the words slipping out without a thought, his blood running cold.
“Since always,” she answered, crossing her arms and leaning against the pillar “well, I suppose that’s not entirely true. I always had my suspicions, but I didn’t know for sure until the Gala,”
“That long?” He breathed in disbelief, taking a step backwards as his world fell apart. She…knew? He had done so many things, killed so many…and…she knew the whole time. “Are you going to stop me?”
She smiled once more.
“I already have. They’ll be here any minute,” sirens already sounded in the distance.
“Did…,” his throat failed, resisting  asking the question he desperately didn’t want to know the answer to “did you ever love me?”
She straightened, taking a few steps closer to him.
“I think I’m the one who gets to ask that question,” she replied “after all, you were the one who lied,”
Fury boiled inside him.
 “…Lied? you-,”
“I never had to,” she answered his unspoken question “you never paid enough attention,”
“No,” he shook his head “you DID love me, I made sure of it,” he laughed “otherwise, why would you warn me they’re coming? Give me time to escape?”
“I knew you wouldn’t,” she answered, drawing ever close, her hand trailing on the kitchen counter as the sirens got closer.
“…and how are you so sure?” He questioned. Movement through the windows was caught in the corner of his eye, causing him to move towards his coat where the medallion was waiting.
She grabbed his hand, resting it on her waist as she grabbed his neck, kissing him. He froze, melting into it, her touch burning his skin as glass shattered behind him. She pulled away, her eyes seeing through to his soul.
“Because you love me,” she replied, dropping her hands from his face as the officers grabbed him.
He was dropped to the ground, arms pulled behind his back.
“You haven’t answered my question,” he called, his voice growing more manic as she turned away “Did you love me?Answer me! Do you love me!?”
Cold tears slipped down her face as they pulled him away in cuffs.

She had loved him. She had loved who he could’ve been, who he should’ve been. The life they should’ve had.
But it was too late.
She had already finished mourning.

“a hero will sacrifice you for the world, a villain will sacrifice the world for you”

“I love you more than anything” he whispered to you, and the sweet softness in his voice made you feel sick, bile rising in your throat. you would have swooned once upon a time, but now you saw his eyes, his cold bitter eyes. there was maybe love somewhere in those dark swirls of color, but deep down. you brought your hand up to cup his cheek, and he leaned into your touch, eyes fluttering shut. a sweet moment, but the bitter and joyless smile broke across your somber face, as you rubbed your thumb on his cheek and his eyes opened.

“oh how pretty you are when you lie.” you whispered, and his eyes widened. oh, he knew he was caught, he knew that you knew everything the moment he looked you in the eyes. he was silent for a while, his lower lip between his teeth as he seemed to try and think of words to say. think of saccharine sweet mistruths to purr into your ear, but as your hand dropped from his face, his eyes landed back on you and he realized that his words would not work this time.
“darling, please don’t-“

“don’t what? tell everyone that you’ve been lying about everything ever since the beginning? I wonder if you approached me the day we met with this in mind. did you think I would be the perfect alibi for you?” you asked, and your nails dug into your palms when his hand touched your face. he wiped away hot tears that you weren’t even aware had fallen.

“yes but- but my love for you was always real. I’ve never lied about that I swear-“ he tried to say, tried to hold your face in his hands and convey his words through his bodily warmth, anything.

“you think I can trust your words? you could be lying to me right now. and I- I can’t-“ the words got stuck in your throat, his teary eyes threatened to shatter your resolve. his hands were shaking, and yours were too. but no matter how your heart twisted and ached, you felt such a sting. betrayal, by the one you love and trust the most, is a wicked thing. you took a deep breath, wiping at your eyes, looking right at him. “god, i was so naive to be so utterly in love with you.. I wanted to marry you! maybe I still do.” you said as you rubbed your arms, suddenly feeling so cold. your beloved looked at you with such heartbroken eyes, the strands of hair you had slicked back for him only hours earlier with a bubbly smile falling across his face in the breeze. behind him, the sun had finally disappeared from the sky, the final rays of it’s light bathing you both.

“my love.. my beautiful starling, please.. please don’t do this- I can leave it all behind, I will! we can get married and live far away, just us-“ he begged, sobbing, reaching out to you again with those lovely hands of his. your hands, the ones that belonged to you.
“maybe, maybe you can.” you murmured as he took your hand in two of his.

“but until then, my love lies with the man you said you were, my beloved.” you said, and your hand slipped from his fingers. he tried to say something, but you were already gone. too afraid that if you glanced back for even a second, you would cave in and run to him, kiss him and thread your fingers through his hair. fall into his spiders web all over again.

no. you couldn’t do that to yourself.
if he loved you, he would find you again.
“and i know you love me.”

(there was a thought and then I completely lost it 💀💀💀)

"He set fire to the world and never let a flame touch her."
•••
"Are you going to set fire to the world?"

"No. I'm going to give her the match and watch while I stand at her side."

Me thinking with any villian i come across, "I can fix them, I can be their loyal servant. and be gentle and kind to the villain"

Her hands were trembling as she point the dagger to his heart. She tried her best to keep her composure when she saw him bounded by chains and covered in his own blood. She knew it from the start that she's the one who should end him. She has to be the one who should do it.

The people in the plaza was gathered around to witness the saintess to kill the villain. The eyes that she once loved is looking at her full with anger and disgust.

She bent down at his level and looked into his eyes. "Any last words?" she managed to stop the tears coming from her eyes and the sob in her throat.

"I loathe you. I will die hating every inch of you and I regret meeting and falling in love with you." Every word pierced her heart as if he's the one holding the dagger and stabbed it to her. But its for the better. He should be hating her. Afterall, she betrayed him.

"Good," she raised the dagger in front of his chest and closed her eyes tightly. The holy symbols glowed as she chanted a prayer. She took a deep beath after chanting the prayer and slowly opened her eyes. She looked at him once again and smiled at him. The same smile that he used to love. "Just remember that I love you and don't blame yourself for this."

With that, she pushed the dagger into his chest. His eyes widened as a magic circle appeared on their chests. The crimson blood started to spread across her white dress. He looked at her once again and she was still smiling at him. Then he remembered their contract when she came under his wing.

"One shall not harm the other, for this harm will be bounced back to the doer. Hence, if one tried to kill the other, the doer shall die.

It stuck him like a lighting. She never betrayed him. All of the the things and the conditions that she made was for him. It was all because she knew she had to protect him.

It hurts me that this playlist runs 1:11:10.....and not 1:11:11.

as a writer I absolutely adore checking the comment section of those playlist it always inspire me so much

his hate filled eyes turn to horror, his condescending voice fading into dispair as both their masks are broken on the ground, a sword running through her chest, his hands letting go of the handle and slumps besides her, as he hears her final breath, a choked out 'i forgive you'

''How can loving you feel so right when it is so wrong?''
''Our souls are destined to long for each other in each of our lifes and then destroy eachother''

Why are all the povs about betrayal? Here's my take.

V - villain
Mo - you but i used another name just because

The hand that reached out to offer. Why was it, instead of sincerity, so full of threat? It was an offer of allegiance, but what of the conditions? Will i die refusing? Will they not hesitate ending me?

"Mo," they spoke. Such honeyed, soothingly wavy voice that made me fall every time. They called for me, but do they yearn? "Please let me take you. Let me show you what wonders i can offer if you let me."

Warning sirens echoed just below this building of thousands of floors. The army came for them. A notorious villain, a threat to our very city, my love— was chased by our own citizens. They're dangerous, psychopathic person to be near with, yet all the years I've been with V, they treated me with nothing but pure love and commitment. We stood at the edge of the tallest floor. V's feet were inches away from falling, and their hands reached out to me.

A hand that reached out to offer.

"Mo," they called again. I inhaled as i beheld V's beauty, their skin kissed by the dim lights in the night, so clear and pretty— but also smeared with red all over. So beautiful. So terrifying. Even with their felony, the clear warnings and proof of their sins. Even so, i love them very much. So much. I must've gone insane.

"I will hand anything and everything to you. The skull of your enemies, a star from a distant galaxy, the whole army's power. And my heart. I will gouge it out of my chest for you. For you, my love, anything will be yours." V's words didn't faze me. Their alluring voice did. So soft, so attractive, so romantic.

They waited for my hand in theirs. "Please, love. Please let me take you with me." They said.

A hand that reached out to offer.

And my hand that held it to love. To a villainous love.

Here's my take on the villain's POV.

So many people V has fooled and discarded. So many women who's innocence he'd taken and placed in metaphoric jars. So many men who's naivete he'd shattered and swept under the rug. Hearts he'd crushed in his palm and bridges he'd burned.

Yana had been one of the unlucky girls who stupidly trusted in him and gave her heart to him. While his time with her had been one of the longest he's had with anybody, being with Yana had been one of the best things he'd done in his life. She had a fire in her that matched his icy nature, and a quick-wittedness she used to thwart his lies.

Had she been smarter, she might have kept using that brilliant brain of hers to see through his facade, to see that he didn't really roll the way she thought he did. No, he wasn't in it for the long run, not one for commitment or loyalty. If she hadn't been so stupidly in love with him, maybe she might have seen that he didn't really feel the same way about her all those years together.

Maybe he would've eventually fallen in love with her too for her spirit and brilliance. Maybe, if he'd been smarter, he might've seen past her naive kindness and realized his own foolishness before it was too late. Now, the love has turned to hate, and the gentleness in her eyes has become venom. She no longer looked at him with adoration and respect. No more smiles, just scathing looks. No more trust. Just disenchantment, apathy, and, worst of all, pity.

After all, V was poison, toxic and hateful as villains come. Like all the bad guys deserved, he'd lost his soulmate because of his own wickedness. He'd taken advantage of her, his soulmate, and the ultimate karma had finally happened to him.

[ Okay, no more leaving the Villain that Loves You behind 😭 ]

Staring at his beautiful eyes, filled with so much pain and so much hate for the world— but love for you. You knew, you knew you could never leave him. This beautiful man who harbors a feeling of disgust for the world, who wants to burn the world with his own hands, who covered his own hands with so much blood of both his own enemies and the innocent. You could never leave this villainous man, perhaps you would have in the beginning of this relationship between you — but now … you were stuck in his web of love for you, his obsession and adoration … *for you*. You could not escape him.

A heavy, scarred covered hand gently caressed your face with a touch of tenderness, a look of awe and adoration stared back at you as a loving sigh escaped the magnificent monster in front of you as he dipped towards you. Softly kissing your cheek, your forehead, the eyelid of your eyes, the tip of your nose — and finally your own lips, he backed away and gave out gentle smile.

“ My love … my one and only … “ he whispered out with such a heavy, warm tone in his voice. Laced with a touch of addiction that he held for you as he held you in his arms. He would give anything, would kill anything, would destroy the whole world — just for you, for your happiness and for your love.  All the things he did, all the things he would do, all the things he wanted to do for you. Just for you. He’d do anything for you, you held his own heart, affection, attention and everything.

The love he has for you was so much that it would have scared you, especially knowing that he was a true abomination in this world, it would have if it weren’t for the fact you held the same type of corrupted affection and love towards him. The things he’d get for you. He’d steal for you, he’d bring a star for you, he’d even press a gun that you held towards his heart … for you. He just … loves you so much. So much. Too much … and that was perfect. You are his weakness … and his strength. And he’d destroy this world for you. Only for you . And he? He is your villain .

"I once said to you that I will be the one to watch the world burn. Turns out you were my world and I hate it. I hated that every once in a while my heart would skip a beat and my stomach would be swarmed with butterflies. I hated that you made me feel. How dare you make me fall and not catch me."

I smile maniacally as I watch him cough up more blood, as he swims in his own blood.

"I told you, I'm fucking crazier."

His auburn hair flowed through my fingers as I only thought of the ghost of his existence. I was still stunned by the thought of him leaving me like this. Heartbroken and flustered. His deep emerald eyes used to have a look of angelic trust. I was wrong. I would never have thought he was like this; a monster. He had me in his grip, a single pendant out of many. His bracelet held the many souls that had been broken before me.

I could still hear his whisper when he left me to contemplate in the alley. “In another world, when hero’s could no longer be different from their enemies, we were meant to be together. Although my love, I am always the villain and you, the savior.” At that he vanished into the frost-bitten night, leaving all memories of the both of us behind.

“Goodbye,” I murmured into the night. The wind barely catching the word.

my boyfriend that ı see as my other half, just left me ... ı am coping  with this playlist thank you :)

My thoughts on this is even though your soulmate is the villain, you still love them one way or another. That person is literally your other half you would be fine with it.

Hot take: The villain is a pining, emotional mess and y/n's dense asf
