很多朋友推薦這部電影，我認為這電影應得到滿分💯
I wish my mother (a native Teochew) is still alive to watch this movie. She lived thru those years in China, and migrated to Malaya in 1950s. She regularly go to a shop to write those letters to her family, sending them some money. When China open its doors, she quickly returned in 1980 to her village near Shantou, bringing with her many parcels of cloths, etc.
This movie is the real history of millions of overseas Chinese.
Every Chinese should watch this to appreciate the struggles and suffering of our ancestors.
