The return of Poison Ivy!

"Why are all the gorgeous ones homicidal maniacs?" - Batman

“Once you’ve caught poison ivy - - You’ll never get rid of it” I think she’s thinking of something else, something less... family friendly.

Re: Robin's comment about Batman needing a cold shower--there was a "Year One" Annual showing Batman's first post-Crisis encounter(s) with Ivy (a panel of which appears at the end of this video). After first meeting her, Batman goes back to the Batcave and talks about her to Alfred while showering. When Bruce starts rhapsodizing about how beautiful she is, Alfred just goes over to the external shower controls and turns the dial to cold. 😁

When Sasha said that Poison Ivy wanted to be “Queen of the Underworld”, it took me longer than I’d like to admit, to realise she meant “Queen of the Underworld...of Crime”; not that Ivy wanted to oust Persephone-and maybe marry Hades, as Greek Mythology is where my mind goes, when I hear the anyone talk about the “Underworld”.

Bruce Wayne is a sportsman because he owns all the sports teams in Gotham 💡

The “I’m giving this crown to only the best female villain” seems like a parallel to when in Greek mythos Eris offers the golden apple to the most beautiful goddess and Athena, Hera and Aphrodite fight over it

I really wanted that character's name to be 'Tiger Mom.' I was about to start writing 'Why have you not used this character?!' mail.

Poison Ivy’s face healed their wounds, cured their depression, and watered their crops. She particularly cares (now) about that last part.

Poison Ivy looks like she promoting that "reefer madness"
(Suprised those made up villain never showed up in Tom King's run, and made them super important)

Even though they were introduced as throwaway characters, i would love to see modernized/ fleshed out version of Silken Spider, Tiger Moth, Dragon Fly.

Bruce is a sportsman to explain away his scars and injuries. "Fell off my polo horse, etc"

God, I love Ivy. "Nature always wins"

“Evil Bettie Page” is the most apt description of Poison Ivy I’ve ever seen!! I love both equally just as much as the other. 😂

Why did the comics code dislike Catwoman that’s a video I want to watch

"I hate to such put a beautiful doll behind bars."

- Batman

I love one line you didn't use: "Remember the name; Poison,  as in arsenic, Ivy, as in irresistible!"

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that Robin can knock a goon out so hard that he in turn knocks out another goon?

The handcuffs line is such a Betty Page reference. They weren't even trying to be subtle haha

You need Fran Dreschner to voice over Ivy.
