The beginning of this made me think of what I found out after my Pop died. I was very close with my grandparents because my dad died when I was 18 months old. They were married 72 years & died 4 days apart. There was nothing wrong with Pop but when grandma had that last heart attack all of his organs started to shut down. Even the Drs said he died of a broken heart. About 2 weeks after my Pops funeral I found out something insane. I had gone to the local store & I saw Pop. I mean it was 100% my Pop!!! What I didn't know is Pop had a twin brother that he was estranged from!!! I thought I was going crazy!!!

Cthulhu loves you,

Because you are crunchy.

You withheld from our hearing and hair raising, the final Cthulhu's mythical phrasing, of this wonderfully endearing, but unknown fable.
I will reprise it, if you'll enable: "So a last word of warning, for what it is worth: when the monsters arise they will conquer the earth." Subscribed.

It’s the sound effects which really make this telling so much better.
Thank you for putting in the extra effort!

I see this video for what it is... a transparent attempt to lure us into the madness!

This is demented in all sorts of amazing ways.

A call from Cthulhu is a terrifying prospect.
It will cost you money and sanity because he only calls collect.
To save your mind and wallet, you must reject!

Kudos on the reading.

I certainly will stay tuned. Ahem. I can't think of two greater friends of humanity than Dr Seuss and HP Lovecraft. Thank-you for this wonderful reading. Chthulhu's eyelashes are quite cute as well.

That rock was epic! Well done rock!

I would make a snarky comment about getting this into high school lit classes because the students can't read the original, but that's not fair to the students, and your version is VERY amusing!

once you get the maddening screaming in your head.. it goes pretty smooth.

Hearing Lovecraft's prose in Seussian verse
Has given me amusement (I fear for the worse).
Perhaps I'll add these strange odd little books
To my great library shelves, to fill in the nooks.
But what will I do, until they arrive?
Wait around dreaming, for the Dread Ones to come alive?
