As someone actually at risk of homelessness and battling a lot of shame about the situation, there's something kind of inspirstional about celebrities cosplaying poverty. Like why am I not asking for help that I need when bro can so confidently do so? I mean it's complicted but when homelessness is such a moralised issue, there's something about watching someone be so brazen when they don't have to be.

As someone who knew his early work well, Mickey Rourke has blown every opportunity he has ever been given. This man has been nominated for Oscars and was once though to be one of the sexiest actors. But he flushed all of that down with substance abuse, poor work ethic and shitty behaviour. He had a great comeback with The Wrestler, and the public seemed willing to extend some grace to him, but again, he just had to act like a damn fool. What a waste.
