i wouldn't even call it the 2024 vmas... its the bmas (britney music awards) cuz of how many REFERENCES they made to her

@chickencruncher 2 years ago

the only way i was gonna ever watch the vmas was watching it on here 🤷🏾‍♂️

I seriously dont get why ppl are mad at chappell for yelling at that guy. Bestie was literally an indie artist with a cult following only a few months earlier. Bestie was suddenly thrust into the spotlight, give her a break

@chickencruncher 2 years ago

paris suddenly having a music career again in 2024 is iconic

I love how chappel covered her and her friend talking. I hate how lip readers can’t mind their fcking business.

Gaga not winning for that paparazzi performance was criminal

the 2009 VMAs was the last truly ICONIC VMAs.
-Lady Gaga's Paparazzi
-Kanye/Taylor Swift incident occurs
-Janet performs "Scream" the same year MJ passes
-Beyonce gives Taylor Swift her moment to accept her award.

Like you simply cannot compete with that evening. You can't.

Your ability to have a pop culture reference for anything is ASTOUNDING

Girl thank you for recognizing Gaga’s Vma. She should’ve won best performance not Katy. PERIOD.

Katy Perry winning that iconic VMA performance award was RIGGA FVCKIN MORRIS. I guarantee you that was a trade-off to get her to perform that medley. Beating Madonna's "Like A Virgin", Britney/Madonna/Xtina's "Like A Virgin, Beyonce's "Love On Top", and THEE Iconic Lady Gaga "Paparazzi" performance?

Absolutely tf not.
