Hearing lately that he passed away, we Coreans(Koreans) mourn with deep sorrows. RIP Mr. Corea.

This is an otherworldly display of musicianship.

Rest in peace Chick, we were blessed to have you on this planet.

Rest In Peace, one of the greatest joys in the history of music

Look, if you're going to shred on the jazz flute, it might as well be in a circus ringleader's coat with a power mullet

Spain is never better than in Spain.

Chick has gone. RIP.
His music will be with us.

Today is a sad day in our music world.
The legend has transcended to another realm where he returns to forever...
but the legend’s legacy will never end.
See you Chick.

i like how the flutist got out of the way to show off completely the drummer. :) respect

Those 2 right there on bass and flute are Carles Benavent and Jorge Pardo respectively... members of the Paco de Lucía Sextete... amazing spanish musicians... with awesome solo carreers as well. Jorge has a couple kickass collabs with Chano Dominguez and Carles is an incredible bassman with 1000% flamenco language running thru his veins. This is solid gold

The amazing performers are: Chick Corea – piano & synth; Jorge Pado – flute; Carles Benavent – bass; Rubem Dantas – percussion (Brazilian cuica); Tom Brechtlein – drums; Hassam Ramry – Egyptian tabla; and Auxi Fernandez & Tomasto Moreno Romero – flamenco dancers.

Chick Corea - The Ultimate Adventure - Live in Barcelona (2007). Chick Corea - Play from - Joaquín Rodrigo : Concierto de Aranjuez > Chick Corea Arr. - Spain. Recorded live at the Palau de la Musica at the 37th Festival Internacional Jazz Barcelona 2007.

We should give big kudos to the staccato bass here --- exceptional, and incredible drums, including the excellent turkish/arabic drum driving the whole piece. Incredible musicianship by the whole band. Pure pleasure to listen.

This was the most insane 18 minutes of my life. I don't think I blinked for the first 10 of em. Simply incredible performance.

I've listened to this maybe 40+ times now, and I still hear 'new' things that I missed on the previous listenings, in all corners of the band. Collaborative musicianship at its finest!

"It is my hope that those who have an inkling to play, write, perform or otherwise, do so. If not for yourself then for the rest of us. It's not that the world needs more artists, it's also a lot of fun, he said." the great musician is gone, I bow respectfully before his memory (from turkey)

What a mastery! It is like a musical heaven, passion, ecstasy and revelation in one piece...

Che Tristezza non avere piu' con NOi il Grande Chick Corea.....RIP in pace MAESTRO

Carles Benavent's bass improv starting at 09:00 is wonderful...
