I was born in 1952, the first 10 years of my life were spent in parks with trailers like the one in your video. This brings back so many memories, thanks for sharing this!
So from what I was told, this spartan has been on the property since the early to mid 50’s. I can’t wait to get a metal detector up there to find countless numbers of old beer tabs 😂
I was born on December 1, 1951 so this trailer was made when I was a baby! I was amazed at how much trailer is behind the tires, it just kind of hangs out there. It nearly looked like it was going to tip over when that guy towing it hit the road with it! I'm so excited that you're going to restore it! I will watch every episode. I'm a long time subscriber.
This Spartan reminds me of the 8" X 42" Roycraft my parents bought to move around the various job sites my dad worked on. Front living room, center kitchen, walk through middle bedroom, bath then master bedroom. I was 9 years old when we started moving to the various job sites/cities. The next unit my parents had was a 10' X 57' New Moon then their last upgrade was a 12' X 60' Squire with a 7' X 12' slide-out. That unit lasted through their passing. Sold the everything in 2004. Mom was living with us when she passed in 2007, 17 days short of her 100th birthday. In many ways I'ld like to go back to the Squire. Great design and simple upkeep. 😞
Damn Talk about a crazy moment Glad you got it home to your shop Really looking forward to videos updating your progress Hopefully you can keep saving these great older trailers God bless Ben
I'll bet that toilet tank lid bit the dust when the trailer almost flipped getting it up on the road at the beginning of its journey, that was a tense moment!
