For this session I’m pushing deeper into the intersection of classic Jungle energy and experimental electronic sound design.

The Tonverk is handling chopped breaks, one-shots and vocal samples, cutting fragments apart and reshaping them into new rhythmic patterns. Atmospheric textures, bass movement and melodic elements are coming from the Modular Synth and Digitone II, while the Outbox 8 brings the Elektron and modular worlds together for a more hands-on, interconnected performance setup.

I’ve always loved Jungle because there’s room inside it for contradiction, chaos and precision, weight and atmosphere, machine logic and human instinct.

The goal isn’t to recreate the past.

It’s to take the DNA of Jungle and Drum & Bass and push it through the machines I use now.

Headphones or a proper system recommended. 🔊

If you’re into hardware-based Jungle, Drum & Bass, modular synthesis, Elektron workflows, breakbeat manipulation and experimental electronic music, subscribe to the channel. I’ll be sharing more sessions, sound-design experiments, live hardware performances and deeper explorations of the Tonverk, Digitone II, Outbox 8 and modular system.

Let me know in the comments what part of the setup you want me to break down in a future video.
