Actually the Romans built the first road in England with layers of different size stone

Plenty of picture, but not one of an actual JCB Pothole Pro.🙈

When UK Councils learn to properly join different pours of Tarmac, I'll believe that we are improving. Just look at the joins in the middle of the road. That's where it all starts all going wrong.

Exactly as is done in Australia - and I saw and walked on examples of this in Baku Azerbaijan over FIFTEEN years ago.

Driving northern New York roads several times many years ago I was struck by the efficiency and quality of road repairs which were noticeable only by a different hue and smooth transition. Here in eastern Ontario rural roads have pot holes filled by hand and patted down with shovel or truck tyres.

In Burkino Faso, Africa.  But, they use whole tyres, then fill them in?  With what?   This sounds similar to what is used in Canada. .

We already have roads made out of potholes.

That YELLOW school bus must have new driver who doesn't know the rout!

Alnwick is actually pronounced (Ann-ick)

What is the point of all these inventions with our present governments?

Using tires for roads is standard practice in places like Arizona and Italy and has been for decades. However, the video title itself, "Britain's New Road Construction Method Is Shocking Everyone," frames the rubberized asphalt trial on the M1 as a cutting-edge breakthrough. It glosses over the fact that the UK is actually decades late to the party compared to other countries. The entire video acts like a psychological band-aid for frustrated British people.

Wow

So where is the electricity? Who is getting shocked?

India build roads tire mix very smooth 2015

This has been obvious for years to do o this

joins are where the water seeps in, this is the beginning of the problem yes. The real problem is that the contractors don't care. New roads with dips and rises. The Canadians have been using tyres as a base for some time.
