Like my '71 118i M Sport very much, purchased new and owned four years so far. Looks great in Misano Blue with 18" alloys. Smooth drive with auto box. Also would comment on fuel economy as the only down point, mostly now dri 8:40 ave in Eco mode to get 40mpg ave. Overall 9/10.

I have this in a manual and the clutch is pretty heavy, would probably recommend the automatic to those who don't have a strong gearbox preference

I don’t remember the engine being mentioned other than it being petrol. Which one?

118i propak on 19 inch wheels. Came to this from a 3 series so dont find the clutch heavy at all. Car very twitchy 0n B roads , follows cambers snd tramlines worse than my orevious car on runflats. Suspension check by bmw all ok, told its just the way it is. On our less than perfect roads any small imperfection feels like you have crashed into a sink hole. On a plus note build quality is good, does not rattle even on rough roads. Think 18 inch wheels would be more suitable for UK roads.
