moving to paris alone at 24 is such a main-character administrative nightmare 😭 but also what a chapter to start. welcome from a fellow paris vlogger ☾

I love this so much for you, "Chiara in Paris" is so chic!

also one friendly piece of advice, in french you generally don’t pronounce the t so when you’re saying “et” it’s pronounced more like “ay” !

As a frenchie, here is a little advice when you order something in a shop : you can say something like "je vais vous prendre un matcha, un muffin..." etc etc. So it's not too formal, but it stays polite and it's the most common way we order foor/drinks in a coffee shop for example. Also, do not hesitate to tell people that you wanna practice french when someone switch to english bc in customer service, in France, we are (often, not always) told to switch to english for english speaking customers so it is easier for them but of course we always appreciate someone trying to speak our language so really do not hesitate to speak french

real ones knewwwwwww she was moving to paris!!!! love this for u chiara 💗

Love this! Also a tip for ordering in French is to start with Je voudrais… (I would like…)

I stumbled across your videos by complete chance, but I absolutely love your authenticity and the raw emotion you share about the realities of moving. You are handling this beautifully. I moved to Paris entirely on my own at 43, and while it all worked out for me, doing it at 24 would have made me an absolute hot mess! You are doing an incredible job. Please don't worry—you will make so many wonderful friends. You won't be alone for long, and Paris is going to embrace you. You made the right decision, ENJOY!

genuinely the most beautiful vlog you’ve ever put out. i’m obsessed with how much effort you’ve been putting into your youtube vlogs. i’ve always loved your tiktok vlogs, but youtube is just soooo much better, so i’m so happy you’re here posting these gorgeous, longer vlogs. and can i just say, i admire you so much. i genuinely can’t think of a more beautiful dream than being able to live this life and do the things you do. you’re so cool and mentally strong for being able to pack up your entire life and move to a city where you don’t know anyone. and also dont let anyone make you feel bad about your pronunciation! people go their whole lives knowing only one language so to make fun of someone whos learning would be crazy lmao. your studio is absolutely beautiful and fits your vibe so perfectly, and i cannot wait to see more of this new chapter. transparently this is making me think a lot about my own life and the things i want to do for myself. anyways, love love love <3

You should watch movies in French and start reading French novels. And I hope you can make one friend who wants to swap languages so you can both practice. I’m so excited for you. You are living my dream 😊

I just did the exact same thing working remotely for a month! It's so empowering, and you will learn a lot about yourself! Best of luck; it's truly the best place to explore and be solo :) - a 24 year old based in NYC 💌

Just got back from Paris last night and this made me want to cry ahahah good for you for living out your dreams and not being scared!! Hope this phase brings you happiness and so much comfort 💌

Are u doing social media full time

chiara this chapter is going to be so good🤭

Hey girl, love your vlog and excited for your new life!!! But are you not in grad school anymore? just curious.

So excited for your next chapter. You go girl!

I just took a three week trip to europe (London, Paris and Italy) all by myself. A lot of the feelings I was having I find hard to explain, yet you explained them perfectly. I never felt lonely, or like I was on vacation. It felt normal, and like I found a place to fit in. This video was a breath of fresh air. I am so jealous. I can't wait to see what you do there :)

I'm French, and I really enjoyed watching your video. I love seeing people discover a country I know so well :) I hope you enjoy your time in Paris.

im gonna miss your nyc contents 🫩 but so excited for ur next journey!!
