21:32 One of the best monologues in cinema history...
RIP Robin Williams... Thank you for everything you've given all of us ❤

Rest in Peace Robin. One person that could make you laugh as you cry at the same time. What an energy and life.

You've quickly become one of my favorite reactors. Your empathy really shines through.

I had a realization while watching your reaction that it wasn’t one person in particular that helped Will, it was everyone. The professor, Sean, Skylar, and Chuckie. They all contributed in some way. Beautiful movie, beautiful reaction, thank you.

That scene with Robin speaking about his wife farting was totally improvised by Robin. Matt Damon's laughter was genuine as it was the first time he'd heard it. What a great movie!

This is one of my favorite movies. The fact that Robin Williams signed on to do it with no names Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, writing and starring in it, giving them to us for years and years is really incredible

@3:48 This explains the fight at the beginning...
It happened because one of the guys used to beat the crap out of Will when he was in kindergarten.
The scene was added to show that Will doesn't let things go... He's holding on to everything that ever happened to him and he can't let it go... Until he finally breaks down with Sean and it all comes pouring out...

Sistine chapel. For me, it was the Grand Canyon. There are no words, no pictures.

words can't truly describe certain scenes of this movie. If you have been down this road, it will leave you speechless and cause you to break down simultaneously.

Thank you for reacting to this! I truly believe the Bench scene with Robin Williams and Matt Damon is the greatest piece of Cinematography Writing that has ever existed........Absolutely stunning....

Robin Williams didn't know what was going to be in the letter Will left him, so when he read it, it was his genuine reaction of "he stole my line", because Matt Damon had actually stolen Robin's line.

The Park bench scene is one of the best in cinema. Robin's monolouge is perfect. And Matts silence speaks volumes. So much is said about Will in that moment, just in the eyes.

Also, Chuck's monologue to Will is such a perfect example of tough love.

This is one of those movies that, if you happen upon it while watching TV, you will stop and watch it.

This time in cinema really propelled Matt Damon to an A-list actor. In a 10 month period, he was the lead in 3 released films (The Rainmaker, Rounders, Good Will Hunting) and a feature actor in a major title (Saving Private Ryan). Adding an Oscar for best original screenplay for Good Will Hunting didn't hurt.

Having Will see a therapist was the judge's requirement, not the professor's idea. The professor even laughed a bit when he mentioned it to Will. This also shows that Lambeau doesn't value counseling. We also see later that he doesn't think Sean has achieved because of his career choice and because Sean has chosen to teach at a community college vs. an elite school.

Matt Damon and Ben Affleck were in their early twenties when they began writing Good Will Hunting, starting the script as early as age 21. By the time the film was produced and they won the Oscar for Best Original Screenplay in 1997, Damon was 27 and Affleck was 25, making them the youngest to win that honor.

Only a deferred opportunity… not a missed one, you were right.
I’m so happy you chose to react to this, and share with us once again your heart.
You were there for the crucial scenes in which Sean and Will connected.
It may not be part of a pop culture trilogy (BTTF) , but it’s about humanity and vulnerability, it’s actually better.
