We ignore prep bombardment on the spotters as they aren't an extra dice, they are part of the guns unit ... in theory if you lose a weapon crew you could kill the spotter to keep your gun fully manned. Also if models are set up outside the deployment zone they are also ignored for prep bombardment.

Love these battle reports, you inspired me to start my early war Germans and I'm having a blast! Keep up the great work!

I've previously been critical of mistakes with the rules, but the board is fantastic.

Great board as usual. Like the backdrops, will need to nick them off my railway, to enhance my games. Not that i video them. Just me and my opponents but a nice touch.

Pz III were actually significantly less common than Pz IV; from memory about 2:3. Due to production problems the Wehrmacht consisted of mainly Pz I and Pz II, a divisions worth of Pz 35(t) and Pz 38(t) and the tanks which were to make the medium platoons which should have been Pz III and almost invariably weren't and the heavy platoon which should (again) have been Pz IV, but also those which more frequently noticable by their absence. Good game though.
