Shadow: epicly beating the shit out of rusty rose

Also shadow 2 seconds later: Gets really deep and emotional then starts talking to rusty like she’s a therapist

Shadow repaying Amy for returning him to his true self isn't what I knew I needed

THIS is that Shadow that people fell in love with. Not the edgy character archetype Sega cut him down to. The characterization in this is immaculate, possibly the best I’ve seen since Sonic Adventure 2, and that’s including a ton of other great fan works. Just… wow.

Oh god yes! The author remembered that Amy was the one who helped give Shadow that final push he needed to save the Earth, and they wrote it so beautifully in this!

Just like everyone else in this comment section I praise this Shadow because you got his character correct, I appreciate that have a like! Also I hope that Sonic prime also works on Shadow's character and that he isn't just angry at Sonic that he screwed the world up and yet he isn't talking to Sonic because he's just actively being aggressive against him.

Man this is so freaking badass. Shadow is a real one for this. For actually caring for her.

Never knew Shadow treasures Amy Rose so closely. He could destroy Rusty Rose into scrap metal if he wanted but held back his power hoping to savage Amy from within Rusty. What a chad.

This is the shadow I've missed for years now, not edge lord shadow. The real shadow who isn't overly obsessing over Maria and has come to terms with who he is and will continue to fight for the innocent and for his friends, the very same shadow who stood against Mephiles and made it very clear he's not going to abandon his promises and duty.

I love this. I love that people can appreciate the oddly special connection Amy and Shadow have had (even in Shadow the Hedgehog, not just SA2) without it needing to be romantic. There are other ways to express those feelings of gratitude, and it always makes me smile when I see it

How it really started:

Rusty Rose: Blue Hedgehog escaping. Four kilometres. Five kilometres.

Shadow: Sorry. But your immediate threat is right here.

Rusty Rose: …seven kilometres

Shadow: Is she ignoring me?!

@actionman9451 3 years ago

Shadow always got his buddies back.

If this doesn't happen in season 2, I'll be very disappointed 😭

@dspace4514 3 years ago

Rusty Rose: Primary threat escaping. 2 kilometers... 3 kilometers...
Shadow: Excuse me, but your primary threat is right here.
Rusty Rose: (looks over to Sonic's direction) 6 kilometers... 7 kilometers...
Shadow: Am I being ignored?

This is perfect for season 2 with Shadow vs. Rusty Rose scene 🥺 imagine shadow might telling her the past where he met amy in prison island, a love he was given by responsibility to protect the world, until then in space colony ark, amy made shadow realize the truth because he knows that he wants to do by his promise 😭 I swear to God if this happens, that'll be a miracle and Amazing by shadow's character should have been like In SA2 and 06
