Golden age of Hollywood never be anything like it again. This woman could teach the current crop of so called actresses a thing or two. humility is one.

The thing about Jane is this... she doesn't have a negative word to say about anyone.

Jane’s performance in “Johnny Belinda” has to be one of the greatest testimonies to the acting profession of all time.
When Belinda prays the Our Father over her dad’s body, man, your heart must be made of stone if you can’t feel her pain and sorrow.
She truly deserved that Oscar….

What a lovely humble person she is.

Jane Wyman was one of the most popular MOVIE STARS of her era. Men as well as women liked her. Few stars of today can compare with her. But like Jane's interview here she explaines how back-in-the-day studio's groomed their actors. They had training that no acting school can do. Gee, I'm glad I was old enough to appreciate those stars of The Golden Age of Hollywood.

Johnny Belinda was a great film and Jane Wyman was so moving as the deaf and mute girl, She fully deserved the Oscar as best actress for her performance ❤

I have always been an old movie lover, and I just recently became obsessed with Jane Wyman films, so this interview is glorious. What a brilliant, articulate lady.

So wonderful to hear Jane talk about her career and talking about others in Hollywood who were friends and people she admired. Not full of ego as so many could be.

Jane reminds me very much of Maureen O'Hara at that time (1995); the way she spoke....so articulate...so informed. Just simply a class act.

I loved (LOVE!) Miss Wyman ever since I first saw her in later 1940,s-1950's until I die. This, my friends, this is one of the great actors that gave us very much happiness in the "movies." She is The Golden Yearss of Hollywood.
Thank you for posting this.
