Now I am always in favor of eliminating cabling wherever possible; as they're the most likely fail point of any rig. That, and the fact that they limit on stage mobility makes them a nemesis to me that is only rivaled by gravity. (The older one gets the more this statement makes sense.) This is based on the assumption that teardown ends when all the gear is off the stage.  Sure, just shove the cables in the case long enough to get the gear off the stage and then when you've cleared the stage and the the next band is setting up you can reopen the case and properly   stow the cables for the next show. Then you go out to the merch booth to do the meet and greets.
In my perfect world everything would be wireless. Of course, the new challenge becomes RF bandwidth, and isolation.

No redundancy for the tracks?  I’m planning on a rig but plan to use the play audio 1u.  If tracks go down - not good. Curious if you explored that.
