I went to explore one of the many beautiful places along our Argentine coast!
The city of Goya in the province of Corrientes was my destination...
The first thing that fascinated me were its colonial buildings, still preserved after so many years, which give the place a nostalgic touch...
Its beaches with golden sand and warm waters, shaded by lush palm trees, allowed me to enjoy myself and cool off when the heat started to build mid-morning.
I loved its very well-maintained Plaza Mitre, decorated with some trees with red leaves that made it even more beautiful. And as if that weren't enough, the imposing Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary stands out among its vegetation, as do several other historic buildings in the city.
I was lucky enough to visit "Isla de las Damas" (Island of the Ladies), a nature reserve accessible by boat. There I was able to hike a trail through the vegetation, which ends at a beautiful lagoon in the middle of the island... Spectacular!!
And if anything was missing, it was being able to watch a sunset from the picturesque Goya waterfront, on the banks of the Goya Stream (an arm of the Paraná River), where I could revel in those ochre and golden colors in the sky, as the sun dipped below the horizon through the vegetation.
It was a new chapter in my trip through Argentina!!! And I certainly enjoyed it...
