I need to tell you about June before you watch this one, because she changed how I think about van living.
Inside this video you get all 25 van tricks a 70-year-old woman named June figured out over five winters near Quartzsite — from testing every door from the inside, to insulating a steel floor for thirty-one dollars, to getting a mailing address and a gym shower when you have no fixed home. 🧰❄️
It works because none of it is theory. June wrote every price, every temperature, and every mistake in a green spiral notebook, and the five words she taped above her pillow are the reason she's still here to tell you about it.
Watch to the end for the night it dropped to seventeen degrees outside and forty-one inside her van, and for what happened when she knocked on a stranger's window at midnight. Stick around, subscribe, and tell me in the comments what you keep close that reminds you you're still a person.
Dale Survival Shelter is for anyone out-thinking a hard situation on four wheels, one cheap trick at a time.
