If you're wondering what happened to the gun scene - blame copyright and it's insistence on hating that scene

I find it absolutely hilarious that every other Bridgerton sibling saw Anthony courting Edwina and individually and unanimously went "fuck that" and went out of their way to ship him with Kate

The whole season is just Kate being a complete savage, and Anthony being completely, hopelessly head over heels in love with her

In a nutshell
Anthony: I hate you.
Kate: I hate you more.
makes out aggressively

Anthony: I am a gentleman
Also Anthony: sniffs Kate

"You are the bane of my existence...and the object of all my desires" KATE HOW DID U NOT MARRY HIM ON THE SPOT????? LIKE???

The "you're the bane of my existence and the object of all my desires" is like the definition of enemies to lovers

Anthony became quite a poet right after he accepts his feelings for Kate, something he struggled with when he was with Edwina..

People talk a lot about the “you are the bane of my existence” line (with good reason, it’s amazing), but I don’t think people talk enough about the “it is not far enough. Do you think that there’s a corner of this earth that you could travel to far away enough to free me from this torment?”. My man’s saying she could be anywhere in the planet, he’d still be thinking of her, going absolutely insane bc of her. Idk that one gets me sooo hard 😩

Anthony: I will marry a proper young lady, who I will have a pleasant life with and the courtship will be most appropriate-
* sees Kate *
Anthony: Or maybe I'll go about this like a demolition crew that got drunk and just fall for her? Yes, good plan.

Anthony: you are the reason I breathe
Kate: he doesn’t love me

call me stupid but, even though they were the main characters, they SOMEHOW did not get enough SCREEN TIME !!

let’s be honest anthony was whipped from the start

The heartbreak in Anthony’s voice when he asked Kate why she disliked him so. 😭

"my gender is kate sharma holding a gun" - that killed me😂 honestly same

The amount of second-hand embarrassment the wedding scene gave me-

I love the "anthony you have turned your sister to drink"

"Yet again all I find myself thinking about,  all I find myself being able to breathe for is you"
and this isn't even his original love confession, i can't...

The unique thing about this enemies to lovers is that they are visibly smitten from the beginning although also competitive.  So when Kate overheard him talking, she was so disappointed that this man she was initially drawn to had such a cold approach to love. It wasn't shown here but before she overheard him at the ball she was making googly eyes at him, so she did like him.

If I was a character in Bridgerton seeing these two, I would had shouted 'GET MARRIED ALREADY' from afar
