Bought our second EV last month and we save > $7K in our household energy bills yearly. This is getting ridiculous, please bring on road user charge so I don't have to feel bad for those still stuck with ICE cars.

Any road usage charge should be a simple system that is applied to all vehicles not just EVs - so costs can be compared directly.

Just had some bulk garden supplies, mulch and compost, delivered this week. The depot is less than 10 Km away but they added a $60 diesel fuel surcharge to the delivery fee.😳

That QLD bus decision is crazy. I've been watching the first all electric bus depot being built in Macquarie Park NSW. Will be finished in 2027 and will have around 165 new buses. Bring it on.

Well done Julie on your championing, data and excitement. Messaging is so key to changing the minds of the weary (and some luddites). More fuel for our farmers, agri, transpo workers that need it.. more reliance on "Aussie made" electricity powered by our unblockable sun. Thanks to China and our free market as well tbh, they're doing what Korea did in the 2000s and what Japan did in the '80s and disrupting legacy big time.

Many large country towns only have 1 slowish charger, when there should be 10 very fast chargers. The government should be helping Janus Electric put in automated truck swap stations along the main highways, which would be charged by solar and wind. Californian gov is paying Janus to convert trucks to swappable ev trucks, maybe Janus could convert the new buses.
