It was Max Bet Monday at Choctaw Casino in Durant, Oklahoma, and this one turned into a day I am still trying to make sense of. Max Bet Monday means exactly what it sounds like. Every single spin at max bet, no dropping down, no easing in, no matter what the session looks like.
What made this day different is that we were filming while the very first annual Slot Mania event was happening at Choctaw. Getting to meet so many of you in person, put faces to names we have been reading in the comments for years, and share that room with you meant more to us than anything that happened on a machine. Thank you for coming out. We love you all.
We started on the new Rakin Bacon, moved through Buffalo, Dancing Drums Link, and Rising Rockets, and finished the session on Phoenix Link. Somewhere in there something happened that I have never seen on a slot machine, and Hubby was standing right there for it.
Then I thought we were done. We had actually stopped rolling. And then I decided I was not finished, and that turned into its own story.
I am not going to spoil any of it here. Watch it play out the way we lived it.
