Bro Flo dropped the gloves with one tough customer and did what he could. Goal for both just added icing on the cake for Simona. Congrats ...these 2 are fan favorites.

I thought Thorpe had the best game of the young guns. Solid on the boards, good puck retrieval and smart passes

Saw David R play a ton in Laval in reg season and PO last year, he will be fine...considering the type of injury he suffered, this kid can skate and saw him becoming more physical as season progressed. David will be a rock on D for years to come!!

Reinbacher just isn’t ready yet. He needs another year in Laval. He’s a huge talent but not ready.

Would like to see Florian on either the 3rd line or 4th. A lot valuable intangibles going his way

The problem with Reinbacher is that fans see Michkov going crazy so it’s hard to appreciate Rein. That wont ever go away unfortunately.

Kapanen is not made to start with the Canadiens, he is not physical and doesn’t use his body to make obvious hockey plays. Florian is taking his place with ease. Thorpe is also playing like he has 1-2 pro seasons in him, using his body to do hockey plays and read the ice. Rohrer brings great energy and grit aswell, this might be our 4th line for years.

Flo should play with Tuck and Thorpe as the 2nd line in Laval. What a powerhouse tough line to play with.
Let them have 2nd line minutes, PP time, see what they can do. Then you move that entire line as is to the Habs as your

Perhaps D pairings will be Matheson-Dobson, Hutson-Guhle, AX-Carrier. Wish they could find a decent return for Matheson, which might come later in the season (December or February/March), to generate and accrue cap space
